I truly love what I do

I truly love capturing moments and making them as beautiful as I can for every family I work for. I think appreciating the present moment, however small or big, is the key to happiness.

Being chosen to immortalise the beginning of the crazy journey that parenthood is is always an honour for me and I therefore always give my very best.

Cosy at home

Especially in the early postpartum days and sometimes still a few months later, it can be tricky to plan to go out to a studio with all the baby gear and around napping schedule so I can adapt to your preferences. Photoshoots can take place in the comfort of your own home, in your favourite park, where you met or in a place that means something to you for example.

Plenty of time

Babies cannot be programmed to be happy and smily at the exact time of a photoshoot. They are discovering what it is to be human and that can be overwhelming.

I take a gentle approach when it comes to taking pictures of little ones.

Having an initial informal chat about what you want to achieve with the session, life with your baby or anything really so that baby can get used to my presence and my voice helps get them and everyone feeling comfortable.

It can feel awkward for adults to be photographed too and I am here to guide you through this, suggesting different poses, actions or just taking natural candid shots.

I allow a maximum of 4 hours per session allowing plenty of time to get pictures of baby awake, sleeping and hopefully a few smily ones too.

All the pictures!

When I was looking for newborn photoshoots for myself when I had a baby I was disappointed to see that many packages only included a few pictures. Partum Ventures' packages always include a digital gallery with all the edited pictures. Though the number may vary from one session to the next due to how unpredictable it is to work with babies, you can expect at least 30 pictures, usually more.

Did I mention?

I am also a registered midwife and this may make it feel that little bit more special and safe during the photoshoot.
